A non profit farm where all the produce grown is donated to the community.
At Barron Creek Farm we seek to foster community through sustainable farming, education, and food accessibility.
Sustainable farming
We utilize regenerative farming practices to help mitigate climate change, improve soil health, restore biodiversity, enhance ecosystems, and contribute to human health.
Education
We strive to provide education surrounding regenerative agriculture, food justice, and community health.
Barron Creek Farm values generational knowledge and learning from the community through the sharing of skills and cultural foodways: the varying cultural, social, and economic practices relating to the production and consumption of food.
Building a better food system is an initiative that relies on the help of many, and not just a few.
Food Accessibility
In 2024, Barron Creek Farm donated over 10,000 pounds of fresh, healthy, and culturally appropriate produce. We believe access to adequate nutrition and tasty food are fundamental to human health and happiness. We work directly with food banks and pantries to distribute our food through the most direct and accessible channels.
