Gen Lawrence is the Executive Director and President of the Board for Barron Creek Farm. Gen has been gardening for most of her adult life, and six years ago she founded a small scale crop farm that runs a summer weekly veggie bag service. Now realizing her dream of feeding the broader community, Gen, who is also a CPA, is thrilled to be leading Barron Creek Farm on it's new adventures. Gen's favorite food to eat at the farm is Zucchini. No, it's Tomatoes. No, it's definitely Zucchini.

Flower Farmer | (she/her)

Jerusha has a passion for nature and understanding the human experience. Her education in psychology, sociology, and physiology has led to a holistic perspective of the connections between people and the ecosystem. With a lens of "beauty in all things" she’s earnestly been able to help nurture the flowers on BCF’s sister farm, where she has learned of the impact the environment has on our lives.

Jerusha’s favorite flowers are Cosmos, Nigellas, and Zinnias.

Hello, my name is Ethan and I am from San Diego, California. I study Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems at UC Davis. I am very passionate about connecting people to food production and helping people improve their understanding of food to make it one of the most healthy and enjoyable parts of life! In my free time I enjoy making music, taking photos, surfing, cooking, and caring for my garden. My favorite vegetable might have to be the onion or really the whole Allium family because of their fantastic culinary uses.

Hi, my name is Zach and I am a sustainable agriculture and food systems major at the University of California Davis. I am from Boston Massachusetts, so I am sure the east coast is the best coast. In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball and spending time outdoors. My favorite vegetable on the farm are the cucumbers!
